Requirements

• Process all requests from Sierra Sales and Customer Service regarding customer metal transfers in or out of the Napa stocking program.


• Review forecast, current inventory and EPICS data to prepare, issue and monitor work orders for internal stocking program ensuring appropriate stock level volumes are maintained.


• Maintain accurate inventory counts of all metal stored in Napa along with conducting routine cycle counting activities. 


• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Shipping, etc.


• Participate in inventory counting procedures for internal or customer auditing purposes.


• Advise management weekly of the status of metal overages, customer material availability, and potential discrepancies or issues to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed. 


• Lead a team of 3 to 5 employees to manage inventory coming into the warehouse, pulling material for upcoming orders and periodic inventory counts.


• Assist with report update and distribution of various supply chain metrics.


• Other duties as assigned.

Education 

• High School Diploma

Qualifications 

• Excellent knowledge of inventory control and quality control principles 


• Experience in manufacturing processes and stocking system


• Teamwork is essential, must be willing to work closely and effectively communicate with co-workers


• Experience leading a team with direct supervision. 


• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions


• Must have the initiative to identify, communicate, and correct problems, as well as adapt to change


• Must be able to work overtime or “off shift” work hours, as required


• Must be willing to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills


• MS Outlook 


• Working knowledge of MS Office 

The base hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
