Customer Service: You are the first point of contact for your customers. Associates that are pleasant, friendly and communicative with customers will be well served in understanding customer needs, explaining products and making sales.Writing: You may be required to write sales reports, requests for materials, etc. Your ability to write well will help you in your career.Math Skills: You will be handling paper money, credit cards and checks. Your ability to use math will help you make sure people get what they paid for and that each transaction is accurate.Persistence: Not every customer will be a sale. Associates need to be able to stay positive and keep at their job until sales are made.
