Overview
Review all NYU Reprographic Services jobs to ensure that the finished goods are assembled and packaged correctly; ensure Logistics & Distribution adheres to delivery deadlines. Prepare digital files for print output using printing solution software to ensure proper format. Operate a variety of complex equipment; provide support and assistance to Production, Bindery, and Customer Service areas. Prioritize office activities, delegate to and monitor work of other team members. May act as team leader to junior clerical support staff. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the department's policies, procedures, activities and jobs' status; resolve routine and non-routine problems; refer complex issues to supervisor.
Responsibilities
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience. Experience providing a high level of customer service
Preferred Experience: Experience in a large, fast-paced mail or production-related environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Operating proficiency on a variety of production equipment (e.g., automated sorter, automated and manual binding equipment, photocopy machine, laser copiers). Proficiency with basic to intermediate-level word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Proficiency with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office or proficiency with Apple. Knowledge of desktop publishing software and Access. Previous knowledge of fiery software.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $36.529. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
