Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, the Manufacturing Technician 4 will mix and process various biological compounds according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.
Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies.
Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team.
Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines.
Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Attributes:
Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds.
Sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
Utilize close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and adjust focus.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an air helmet, mask, safety shoes, rubber apron, protective gloves, and or chemical resistant suit.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years' of work experience in a chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other life science manufacturing environment.
OR
Associate Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline.
1+ years' of work experience in a chemical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other life science manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Troubleshooting skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
