Responsible for improving existing machining process to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity improvements.
Responsible for updating appropriate process documentation to ensure setups, programs, and tooling information is accurate and available for Operations.
Process development and implementation of new product designs.
Active, hands-on participant in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of operations issues.
Actively train Operations on new and existing machining processes.
Implements new technology as part of capital projects, maintaining timeline integrity for specific tasks.
Committed to delivering exceptional results.
Communicate and interact with all levels of the organization to facilitate action and drive improvements.
Supporting the business by working on 2nd and/or 3rd shift may be required.
Required Experience
Familiarity with CNC programming, especially basic manual programming, cutting tools, and part work holding.
2 plus years' experience highly preferred
Experience with AutoCAD preferred
Experience with CAM software preferred
Associate Degree in an Engineering-related discipline is required. Equivalent, relevant experience will be considered.
1-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment involving high speed machining and automation is highly preferred.
Experience using manual lathes, mills and other equipment is highly preferred.
Experience using basic measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc. is preferred.
