The department of Medicine with the Peggy and Harold Katz Family Drug Discovery Center has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Postdoctoral Associate to work onsite on the UHealth campus. He/she will work under the direction of a principal investigator and conducts/assists with a variety of research activities that are complex and wide in scope.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Performs statistical analyses, including selecting the appropriate analysis procedure,
setting up data for analysis, judging validity and reliability of data, designing and writing
programs to perform analyses and producing written reports on the result of the analyses.
Assists faculty researchers and other collaborators in the planning and design of research
experiments.
Establishes priorities and recommends schedules, timetables and costs.
Presents project results to internal and external parties.
Operates specialized scientific equipment.
Uses available technology to facilitate the success of projects.
Liaises with other departments, outside collaborators and others to ensure success of
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of the subject disciplines.
Organizational and project management skills.
Written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with all levels of staff.
