We are seeking diligent student assistants to join our turf and grounds maintenance team. As a student assistant, you will play a crucial role in upholding the aesthetic standards of the Waterman facility as well as the functionality and appearance of the turf grass research facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to turf and grounds maintenance, including but not limited to:




  • Zero turn mowing




  • String trimming




  • Mowing fairway and putting green research spaces




  • Mulching




  • Weeding




  • Brush removal




  • Irrigation repair





The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in turf and grounds maintenance and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the beautification and functionality of the Waterman/CFAES vision



Students are able to work a maximum 28 hours a week during the semester and 38 hours a week during the summer break.
