Job Description:
Upward Bound is seeking (2) Institutional Work Study students at 5 hours each per week for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 terms. Duties include:
- Tutor students in high school Math and English
- Assist around the office with light work (answer the phone; assist with organizing files and supplies; and assist on social media graphics for our Instagram & Facebook)
Required Qualifications:
- Good grades in Math and English
- Skills in social media and graphic creation
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
Minimum Salary or Salary Range:
$11.00 per hour
Background Check Statement:
This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
