Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant in our Home Lending Risk Organization - Data and Transformation team. This team is responsible for providing a data environment for credit related modeling, analytics, and reporting.
This Lead Risk Analytics Consultant position will act as a Product Owner and leverage Agile principles to bridge business needs to our technology supported data environment (CRMDI). This individual will be responsible for working closely with the overall credit risk data and transformation team, our Home Lending Risk partners, our technology partners, as well as the overall home lending credit user group.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the SME/product owner for Home Lending data for the CRMDI environment.
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, by delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting and contributing to large-scale planning related to risk analytics.
Proactively identify process enhancement opportunities, develop business requirements for changes to the CRMDI application, prepare change management documentation, and present recommendations to key stakeholders.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies; create, validate, and accept user stories which includes validating the functionality within the platform meets the defined acceptance criteria.
Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common data modeling strategies
Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and data model documentation in alignment with policy governance
Act as a liaison between key stakeholders and the technology team by reviewing stakeholder requests, changes in credit policy, or changes within upstream systems and determining if updates are required in the CRMDI application.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Home Lending origination, servicing, or accounting systems and/or data environments
Strong analytical skills in SAS and SQL
Experience with RCSA, G&O Framework, Data Management Policy, and/or COSO Policy
Excellent collaboration skills
Inquisitive nature
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities
Experience troubleshooting data issues to identify root cause
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present results and recommendations to management
Experience with Agile practices and frameworks and workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence and Jira

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $111,100.00 - $197,500.00 Benefits
