Key Responsibilities: • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion with assigned team. • Provide expertise in audit planning and performance, ensuring high-quality engagements and reducing issues before partner/manager review. • Collaborate with audit partner and manager to support the commercial entities practice, facilitating project management and engagement leadership. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their concerns and providing strategic guidance. • Mentor and lead audit team. • Perform risk assessment and develop audit plans to address potential issues. • Review financial statements and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Participate in professional development opportunities, including webcasts and conferences, to enhance expertise in commercial audits. • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to provide expert guidance to clients. • Travel required.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with a minor in accounting. • CPA certification strongly preferred. • Minimum of 4 years of external audit experience including one year experience supervising audit engagements. • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations. • Exceptional technical, communication, and leadership skills. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
