Position Summary
Coordinates transitions to new vendors, new business or technical processes, new technology or significant changes to current technology. Implements changes that will affect business or technical processes with a moderate to high impact for stakeholders and will present challenges in complexity or deadlines. May perform duties in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Data Business Intelligence Security Quality User Experience Production Control
What You'll Do: This IT Analyst or Sr IT Analyst will perform typical BA, and some QA, duties for two scrum teams which are tasked with creating foundational tooling for ERIE's cloud platforms. The teams are currently aligned with the Cloud Program but will endure as long as there are foundational platform functions to build and maintain.
As such, this analyst will perform the following as a standing member of the foundations scrum teams:
Analyze feature and/or story requirements
Elicit additional requirements/clarifications as needed
Acceptance criteria assessment
Basic QA functions for the scrum team deliverables
Assist scrum master with team trending analysis and backlog management
Pending future expectations of scrum teams, this analyst may also:
Analyze break/fix tickets
Analyst continuous improvement demand
Assist with sequencing support activities, including trending and reporting
Preferred Experience and Skills: In addition to the standard business analyst requirements, this analyst should have the following skills:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities; support multiple scrum teams in parallel
Familiarity with AWS cloud Basic Concepts
AWS cloud Practitioner certification
Willingness to learn how infrastructure is created, managed, and maintained in the AWS cloud
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure to facilitate communication to business and technical stakeholders
Familiarity with ERIE Business Agility Model at ERIE; some practical experience preferred
