1400 projects in google cloud
Someone who has understanding of Google cloud environment, has done development in GCP and python
Mainly python shop and in google they also use terraform
A lot of serverless, all in python
Gopal(chief architect)
Someone has deep GCP experience
Large scale environment, should come from enterprise environment
Need to be able to automate
GCP, coding, python
Must have worked on GCP cloud
Really hands on developer
Additional headcount needed for work load
Engineering solution architect
Cert isn't required
CSPM not required, preferred though
Serverless experience is required

Descriptions:
The GCP engineer MUST BE proficient in python and a\experienced in Terraform. This role is not for DevSecOps/SRE. This is more like a solution architect and deep understanding of all the GCP infrastructure with ability to automate. Additional exposure to AWS or Azure would be a PLUS.
Candidates must demonstrate strong development skills with GCP and or Azure experience. GCP highly recommended. We are NOT looking for DevSecOps or SREs. Python skills with microservices experience ( Serverless architecture).
Client is expanding their Cloud Security organization and are looking for developers with cloud security experience and willingness to build their security skills in the exciting field of cloud computing.
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will support the business in enabling and securing cloud-based technologies and solutions, partner collaboratively across teams providing technical guidance to understand, mitigate and or verify risks, innovate/manage security solutions, with the objective to improve security posture across platforms. In this role you will gain valuable experience and insight in protecting Client's multiple cloud environments and will be at the heart of guarding our data and applications against advanced threat adversaries.

What you'll be doing...
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
Design, test, and build security automation and tooling to promote security hygiene
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to educate and reduce risks
Manage cloud security solutions promoting automation
Drive mitigation of reported risks from continuous monitoring solutions
Partner with enterprise teams to establish preventative controls to support security needs via automation.
Ability to self-learn new technologies with security mindset
Integrating services via published APIs using a variety of programming platforms
Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization
Owning the ongoing design, implementation, and management of the GCP environment, testing, and implementation of new services as they become available in the GCP environment.
Collaborating with Security, Governance, Cloud engineering groups, and development teams to implement solutions across various lines of business.
Design and automate security & governance framework across our GCP environments using Python, Google Cloud SDKs, Unix Shell and other scripting languages
Must Have Skills (Most Important):
Bachelor's Degree
Five or more years of relevant work experience.
Five or more years of experience with GCP and Azure combined
Five or more years of development experience using python
Five or more years experience developing Cloud Automation
Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Django, HTML, jQuery, Bash scripting
GCP SDK and CLI experience.
Terraform experience.
Linux and Windows System Administration experience.
Cloud Networking and Security Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, Confluence.
Basic DB and SQL experience
Strong experience with GCP Cloud functions and Azure Functions
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Five or more years in cloud operations, development, security, compliance etc.
Demonstrate understanding of Cloud Platform technologies and their usage, specifically GCP and also preferably Azure and/or AWS
Solid experience of cloud security, risk analysis and implementation of best practices not limited to 'Security, Identity & Compliance', 'Management Tools', 'Networking' and 'Compute & Storage'
Hands-on development using Python and APIs
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
Creating innovative solutions to meet our company's technical security needs
Develop company-wide best practices for IT security
Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
Hands-on experience with GCP SCC or other CSPM tools
