Maintain QA objectives complementary to company policies and goals.
Prepare and review the departmental annual plans and customer complaints.
Maintain all regulatory, internal/external, and board QA reporting.
Need strong managerial skills and a commitment to ISO9001 and other related certifications.
Be responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems and processes.
Develop cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials.
Maintain relationships with suppliers or develop new relationships with new suppliers.
Ensure to manage all raw material vendors' contracts.
Monitor quality key measures and trends for adherence to targets.
Recommend and take corrective action in compliance with quality audits, issues, etc.
Handle administrative duties such as budgeting and scheduling.
Maintain all laboratory certifications and monitor technicians for accuracy and precision.
Train staff to uphold consistent quality standards.
Introduce, monitor, and update quality programs in conjunction with other departments to meet company and regulatory objectives such as USDA. This includes quality control testing framework, microbiological testing framework, HACCP, pesticide residue control framework, GMP, pest management, and housekeeping/sanitation practices.
Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, root cause analyses, or quality trends.
Maintain action log from sanitation inspections, pest inspection records, the Koshering website, HACCP, etc.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Organizational skills, attention to detail, good judgment, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
