About the role:
BD Alaris™ Infusion System is the leading global brand with a major presence in the US and other key international markets. Working under the direction of a Group Marketing Manager, and in collaboration with core team leaders, cross functional core team members and global region partners, this Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the development of new products in the infusion portfolio. The Product Manager's role supports key areas in a global context:
Function as a subject matter expert for core teams, downstream marketing, and regions.
Drive new product enhancements, integrations and continuity in product development process.
Define the product strategy and roadmap for the BD Infusion platform.

Key responsibilities will include:
Provide ongoing support of the Global Product Development Process (GPDS) by active engagement in peer reviews of product deliverables. In addition, this role will support the vetting of innovation ideas to be used for business leadership decisions on priorities and actions.
Build and maintain product requirements, roadmaps and strategic oversight.
Demonstrate deep understanding of market landscape, trends, customer needs and experience to identify and fill product/service gaps that will generate new solutions to improve the customer experience, grow category share, and drive revenue.
Prioritize technical and commercial requirements based on business and customer impact.
Build cases to support new product and business opportunities.
The role is also responsible for leading or supporting competitive strategy work as needed
Education and experience required:
Bachelor's Degree .
3+ years proven experience in upstream marketing and product development.
Ability to define problems, collect data in ambiguous environments, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
High analytical skills.
Organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Advanced verbal, written and presentation/communications skills.
Personal characteristics: detail-oriented, critical thinker, self-motivated, self-driven, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, self-aware, customer-focused, interested in professional development/career progression, high personal accountability.
Medical device marketing experience preferred.
Competency with working in FDA, regulated environment for product development process preferred.
Ability to participate up to 10% travel.
