Responsibilities
Position Summary The Supervisor of Maintenance Material Logistics assists in the prioritization of the efforts of the Maintenance Logistics Coordinators. The Supervisor of Maintenance Material Logistics will ensure the team works in coordination with heavy maintenance, sourcing teams, and procurement teams. The Supervisor of Maintenance Material Logistics will maintain material allocation pre-draw materials and vendor materials performance, cost, and quality. Job Responsibilities
Streamlines and standardizes analyst procedures for MLC.
Develops and delivers training, and targeted training, based on best practices.
Promotes team communication and cross functionality within the department.
Oversees vendor assessments in order to assists the Manager of Operational Material Logistics in Material Allocation.
Designs and implements individual and team performance metrics to ensure all HMV Materials are tracked throughout the process with complete visibility.
Collaborates with and assists the PSA Manager of Operational Material Logistics with all department staffing decisions, provides feedback and delivers individual employee performance reviews and assists in the goal setting processes.
Maintains close relationships with current HMV vendors, tracks issues, and raises potential concerns with vendor reliability or parts/inventory problems.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
Performs other duties as assigned
Position Specifics
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to obtain airport SIDA badging.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, Teams).
At least two years of inventory, supply chain, warehouse, or facility maintenance experience in aviation.
At least 1 year experience with heavy maintenance supply chain or equivalent commercial aviation logistics
Experience using an inventory management system.
Previous experience with HAZ MAT shipping procedures.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management and conflict resolution.
Excels in handling multiple project tasks, communicating, and delegating responsibility.
Comfortable with making decisions, monitoring progress and reporting results.
Proven ability to build and facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
Commitment to system functionality, efficiency improvement, and user satisfaction in rapidly growing and changing environments.
Strong planning/organization capability and ability to make major decisions quickly.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
