Volt is immediately hiring for a Documentation Specialist for a Food Manufacturing Company in Compton Ca
As an Documentation Specialist will:
- Maintain high quality and correct errors on forms from various departments.
- Review and ensure forms are complete and accurate.
- Working closely with Quality Management, Identify and resolve compliance document issues.
- Keep documents confidential and properly filed.
- Support and participate in third-party audits.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with allergen rules and label accuracy.
- Follow GMP, food safety, food defense, and food quality regulations, and report any issues.
- Adhere to job safety requirements and report any violations.
- Perform other assigned duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years working in Food Manufacturing Environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science related field or equivalent relevant experience and education
- Knowledge of food safety programs and regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, Allergen Programs).
- Understanding of labeling regulations (FDA, COOL, Prop 65, Nutritional Warnings).
- Experience with NLEA guidelines and ESHA Genesis for nutritional data.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Schedule: Monday to Friday1st shift 9:00am-5:30pm
Pay Rate: $24 to $25.00 hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
