RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Kforce client, a premier integrated real estate investment, development and management company located in Boston, MA is seeking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. The client offers compensation, benefits, and the opportunity to work with a great team of people.

Responsibilities:

• Fund Accounting and Administration - prepare and review daily, monthly, quarterly reports for various funds


• Ensure accurate processing of trade transactions, including purchases, sales, and reconciliations of fund assets and liabilities


• Prepare financial statements


• Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, investors, auditors, and regulators


• As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will assist in the preparation of annual reports and tax filings for funds


• Perform monthly reconciliations of cash, securities, Yardi preferred


• Analyze discrepancies and resolve issues promptly


• Perform other job-related duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 3+ years of public accounting and/or Fund accounting with close ended funds or commercial real estate accounting experience preferred


• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word required


• Strong attention detail and accuracy


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities


• Highly professional with strong interpersonal skills


• Able to work effectively with others and be a team player


• Yardi experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
