The University of Miami Health System at Doral has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Materials Management Clerk.
The University of Miami Health System will soon open the second phase to our state-of-the-art facility in Downtown Doral that serves as a western hub for our distinguished regional network of ambulatory services. This 160,000 square foot expansion will continue to bring world-class academic medicine, cutting-edge technology, and innovative treatment options to the rapidly growing Doral community. UHealth at Doral will have services through the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, as well as specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, otolaryngology, gastroenterology, dermatology, and more. The expansion will provide residents with innovative, specialized medical services in the heart of their community. Once complete, UHealth at Doral will have 8 operating rooms, 3 endoscopy procedure rooms, 33 cancer treatment bays, over 60 multidisciplinary exam rooms, and supporting ancillary services like imaging, lab, and respiratory therapy. UHealth at Doral will open in September, 2024.
The Materials Management Clerk 1 accurately performs all receiving and delivery functions related to the receipt and distribution of supplies in assigned facilities. The Materials Management Clerk 1 provides departments with appropriate supplies via the Par Level system, responds to special requests for supplies, restocks crash carts and specialty carts, promotes a positive image of the department, and maintains a neat, organized storeroom and prep room.
Properly maintains adequate inventory in main store rooms and floor stock areas.
Prints and places appropriate labels on inventory packages.
Requisitions, receives, stocks, and replenishes supplies daily or as needed.
Checks expiration dates on supplies in inventory and rotates supplies.
Assists in unloading and unpacking inventory items as they are received.
Notifies managing staff of any issues, such as overstocking and discrepancies.
Assures that supplies are charged appropriately on the day of delivery.
Ensures that receiving and ordering paperwork is accurate and preserved appropriately.
Assist with unloading, unpacking, and storing inventory items as received.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Skill in data entry with minimal errors.
Ability to lift 70 lbs
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
