As a team leader in this role, you will have the opportunity to:




  • Drive leadership, action, and accountability across the Gene Reading Workflow products and portfolio for Next Generation Sequencing and PCR Portfolios that lead to sustainable growth and strategic objective completion, including developing and monitoring key performance indicators and metrics across customers and market segments to measure and improve commercial performance, product adoption, and user satisfaction.




  • Lead kaizen & DBS events that support sustainable continuous improvement and cross functional alignment. Utilizing DBS, establish and implement best practices and processes for commercial product management, including customer insight, business case creation, product launch and lifecycle management, and sales enablement




  • Build and mentor a team of product managers providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to drive share gain.






As a team member in this role, you will have the opportunity to:




  • Adapt and champion sustainable processes that deliver growth. Define and communicate the product vision and goals for our portfolio, including leading the go-to-market strategy and define the tactics required to drive share gain across the NGS Gene Reading portfolio




  • Build positive cross functional relationships and act as the product expert communicating clear value propositions to internal and external stakeholders




  • Develop customer intimacy to create a differentiated and strategically relevant understanding of opportunities to better serve them, including translating the voice of the customer to the customer journey, workflow, and needs




  • Monitor, synthesize, report, and define actions related to material changes in the market and competitive environment. Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure alignment on product strategy and commercial execution






The essential requirements of the job include:




  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, biological sciences, engineering, or related field




  • 7+ years of experience managing teams




  • 7-10+ years of experience in the biotech or genomics industry and/or in a product or commercial role supporting highly technical product portfolios




  • 3+ years of experience in the Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), genomics, oncological research, or biotechnology industry




  • 5+ years of demonstrated success leading cross-functional strategic and tactical projects with proven track record of delivering solutions that solve complex customer problems and create business value




  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally






It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:




  • PhD in biological sciences (biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.), engineering, or related field




  • Previous experience with oligonucleotide management and product knowledge

The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
