Senior Staff Accountant - Hybrid at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

One of our leading clients is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing organization. This is a newly created role due to growth and is within a collaborative, forward-thinking team. This position offers the ability to grow within the company and offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.



Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly and annual financial close activities, which include preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and producing financial statements in accordance with GAAP for internal and external financial reporting.


• Perform regular and ad-hoc financial statement analysis, such as preparation of monthly balance sheet account analysis and analyzing income statement variances to prior periods.


• Collaborate with operations to support the business departments to obtain data for and interpret key financial performance metrics.


• Assist the accounts payable and customer billing functions as needed.


• Support financial planning & analysis by creating data for budgeting and forecasting needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field


• 3+ years of accounting experience


• CPA or MBA highly preferred but not required
