Responsible for support and maintenance of Audio Visual & Classroom Technology (AV/CT) equipment in the Pinal County Community College District, including but not limited to support of IT AV Analyst to execute project-related tasks in the areas of improvement and optimization of AV computer hardware, classroom AV equipment. installations, troubleshooting, functional testing, asset management, system support, training, or decommissioning of equipment.
Responsibilities
Maintain the AV lifecycle of technology resources: This includes overseeing the acquisition, installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, and decommissioning of equipment and software related to classroom technology and AV equipment at all college sites.
Provide consultation service, information, instruction, and support to end-users and departments over the phone, remotely, and in person.
Ensure the optimal performance of classroom technology infrastructure. Oversee the ongoing health and functionality of equipment and software through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization strategies.
Assist with IT projects: Contribute expertise and execute AV/IT project tasks to achieve strategic goals as directed by the Analyst.
Stays current on new and emerging classroom technology / AV equipment as new technologies emerge and requirements adapt and change.
Maintains a comprehensive asset inventory: maintain AV asset tracking and manage all technology assets, ensuring accurate data.
Perform additional duties aligned with the overall mission and strategic objectives of the organization.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree - or - Professional Level certification - or - Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Two (2) years of applicable experience PREFERRED:
Crestron hardware / architecture experience
Crestron programming experience
Crestron Fusion experience
Computer Troubleshooting & Imaging experience
Cisco Networking experience

Supplemental Information
Licenses and Certificates: This position may require appropriate licenses or certifications at time of appointment or within a specified timeframe (e.g., Crestron). This position requires a valid Arizona Class D driver's license at the time of application.
Physical Requirements: Duties require occasional physical exertion, climbing of ladders/working at heights, work with moderate to heavy (up to 50lbs) materials unassisted. Duties performed cause light fatigue of eyes, fingers or other faculties due to long periods of standing, sitting and/or repetitive motion.
Schedule & Travel: Will be required to be available for after-hours emergency response duties as a member of a 7x24x365 support operations team. This position may be required to work rotating shifts, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Travel throughout the District is required using CAC or own transportation is considered an essential function of the position.
Working Conditions: Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with occasional distractions such as noise, interruptions or congested work areas with exposure to some disagreeable elements. Travel throughout the District is required. May occasionally be required to work in outside areas with exposure to heat or cold. Working in high or confined spaces may be infrequently required. This position may be required to occasionally work within a correctional facility.
Security: This position will require the successful completion of an additional personal background verification due to the responsibility of this position to access law enforcement, corrections, or court facilities, property, and associated confidential and sensitive information, documents, communications, and database systems. This position may require occasional inmate contact.
