The Dartmouth Clinical and Translational Science Institute, also known as Dartmouth SYNERGY, is recruiting a Senior Research Analyst to support biomedical and clinical research conducted at Dartmouth Health and Dartmouth College. Primary tasks include data wrangling and cleaning, completing statistical analyses, drafting the methods and results sections of manuscripts, assisting researchers with study design selection, and providing additional statistical support to researchers. The analyst will be supervised by Dr. Todd MacKenzie, Professor of Biomedical Data Science and Director of the BSC. The analyst is required to work in-person 1-2 days a week and can work remotely the remainder of time.
Masters plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Master's Degree in statistics or closely related field and 1-3 year's experience.Ability to work independently on statistical analyses.Organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Ability to execute prescribed statistical analysis plans.Ability to summarize findings from statistical analyses in writing and verbally.Ability to communicate effectively with researchers seeking statistical support.
PhD or master's degree and 5 plus years' experience.Experience collaborating as a statistician within and across multidisciplinary teams.Experience completing statistical analyses within biomedical research, clinical trials, or related contexts.
