Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Wireless Network Technician position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
As a level three Wireless Network Technician, your main function will be to provide technical support in the development and provisioning of wireless services. Technical support will primarily consist of wireless devices and wireless infrastructure across Government installations identified in Call Order.
This support includes system administration, device configuration, technical, and troubleshooting activities supporting mobile wireless devices such as BlackBerry, iPhone, PCs, Secure Mobile Environment Portable Electronic Device, and required software.
Compensation Minimum: $90,000
Compensation Maximum: $95,000
Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Secret Clearance
8 years as a Wireless Network Technician
Maintain database accounts, hardware (laptops, modems, servers), and software for Remote Access Security Program per NSA directives
Set up and configure laptops and software; troubleshoot laptop/server hardware and software
Maintain mobile wireless services (devices, software, servers, user support, systems management)
Coordinate with government installation areas for modem and FORTEZZA card issuance and programming
Must possess and maintain an IAT I level certification

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
