Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely. Your expertise in using Timberline/Yardi software will be essential in managing our accounts payable functions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Reconcile and verify transactions, resolving any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
Manage and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic transfers.
Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve billing issues.
Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable and vendor management.
Ensure timely processing of payments and adherence to payment terms.
Some administrative duties, including front office reception and vendor-related duties.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Timberline (Sage 300), Yardi or Appfolio software is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
