Work Schedule :

Per Diem. Minimum 16 hours per week. Primary shift will be 8:30AM - 5:00PM every other weekend. Shifts and schedules may vary. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay :


  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $600 sign on bonus.

UW Health's Inpatient Pharmacy team is growing! We're seeking individuals who are energized by helping care for patients through diligent picking, preparation, and delivery of medications throughout East Madison Hospital.

The ideal person will be:


  • Team-motivated, have a high attention to detail, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in your mathematical skills is a must!
  • Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Education:

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred - Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program

Work Experience:

Minnimum - No related work experience required.

Preferred - 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred

Certifications:

Minimum - Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration upon hire required. Must have valid driver's license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent upon hired required.

Preferred - Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
