JOB DESCRIPTION:
The UPS Materials Distribution Center team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Administrative Assistant to assist with order processing, customer service, invoice reconciliation and other assigned administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant will assist with tracking orders placed directly with various vendors. He/She will spend much of their time working with internal customers and stakeholders, vendors, and Automotive. He/She must be flexible and comfortable using all methods of training. The MDC Administrative Assistant will report to and work out of the MDC office.
- Processes customer service inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Researches and resolves purchase order discrepancies
- Performs administrative tasks such as order processing, service calls, solution tickets, invoice reconciliation, purchase order follow-up, etc.
Knowledge and Skills
- Outstanding time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and provide feedback of progress
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Highly organized and motivated with positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects and assignments
- Knowledge and ability to interact with all levels of management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer

- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
