Join the Store Payments and Payment Business Services team! As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with cross-functional enterprise teams and business partners to analyze requirements and drive product features to meet the needs of our in-store and eCommerce customers.
Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from customer service, payment, internal audit, and legal business areas for eCommerce and in-store payment processing requests that include cross-team development efforts.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, and developers to ensure design meets requirements and are secure, scalable, and high performing.
Collaborate with user experience designers, developers, third parties, and Legal Department to ensure design of customer facing content and behavior are secure, compliant, and user friendly.
Ensure appropriate coverage of payments related use cases within requirements, design, and test cases.
Validate completed work meets requirements and design and is fully tested.
Provide support and subject matter expertise on business rules and processes to technical lead(s), test lead(s), and other team members during all phases of projects.
Coordinate and engage user experience designers and business areas in acceptance testing and/or demonstrations.
Conduct research for alternative payment methods and payment functionality prevalent or upcoming in the industry.
Lead cross-team payment efforts working with business areas and architecture, infrastructure, security, development, quality assurance, deployment, and support teams.
Organize and plan activities to meet agreed upon delivery timelines.
Proactively communicate with management, business areas, and teams on plans, statuses, obstacles, and issues
Lead identification of deployment strategy to accommodate development team delivery schedules, pilots, rollouts, and any restrictions.
Assist Payments teams in prioritization and planning of concurrent efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in business systems analysis
Experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions that involve cross-functional teams.
Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities.
7+ years of experience in business systems analysis
3+ years of experience in documenting requirements and/or high-level design
Continued education and certifications in various technical disciplines
Experience in payment applications along with associated regulations, specifications, and standards set by the government, card brands, and other stakeholders.
Experience in leading efforts with multiple development teams potentially with a mix of SDLC methods such as Agile and Waterfall
Experience in planning, tracking, design, and documentation tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Figma, Miro, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiarity with modern technologies and their role in providing highly secure, stable, scalable, and efficient payment solutions.
Experience in application development.
