Precast Concrete Inspector - Full Time/Part Time -Mid-Atlantic Region at Pennoni in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Pennoni is hiring full-time and part-time Precast Concrete Inspector's for offsite fabrication inspection at precast and prestressed concrete plants located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States (PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, NC).

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• In-plant Quality Assurance inspection of precast and prestressed concrete highway and bridge materials for various transportation agencies.
• Performing Quality Assurance inspection and documentation during precast and prestressed concrete fabrication.
• Sampling and testing of plastic concrete may be required.
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Attend meetings and communicate with fabricators, clients and engineers.
• Produce daily written shop reports.

Required Attributes:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma
• ACI Field Testing Technician Certification
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work well independently and work well with others
• Need reliable transportation
• Must be able to work construction schedules, which may include overtime and possibly night shift and weekend work as necessary to meet project/client schedules
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician is required
• One year of precast concrete experience

Preferred Attributes:

• PCI certification
• NETTCP Certification
• Prestressed concrete fabrication experience
