Per Section 9.5.5 MLTSS CASELOAD MANAGEMENT, NJ CMs cannot manage more than 60 Community MLTSS members. Additionally, the same field staff is responsible for assessing Core-Medicaid members for MLTSS-like services (Personal Care/Medical Day).


Without backfill, current department ratio is [1:129] is not factoring in the assessment requirement for Core-Medicaid members. By adding backfill, ratio will be [1: 97] allowing CMs to assess Core-Medicaid members timely as well.
