Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Benefits Design Director will be responsible for leading benefits program initiatives and projects with corporate-wide impact (i.e., process improvements, benefit design, M & A activity).
How you will make an impact:
Partner with cross functional team members to lead various corporate-wide benefits design initiatives
Research new programs, involving major stakeholders, with focus on innovation.
Analyzes financial and organizational implications of programs and presents recommended actions to senior leadership
Partner with various stakeholder to implement and administer program(s)
Manages major change initiatives and develops communications plans as needed
May represents the department on key benefit initiatives and assists in ongoing process improvement and policy development.
May lead other staff members in implementation and administration of company benefit programs
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA degree in related field and minimum of 8 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Strong knowledge of applicable benefit laws and regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.) and/or CEBS certification preferred.
