Provider Communication Manager at Elevance Health in NORFOLK, Virginia

Job Description:

Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.


The Provider Communication Manager is responsible for collaborating with health plans and enterprise business partners to ensure accurate, consistent and timely provider messaging in the support of B2B, enterprise, state-specific, vendor and line of business communications.



How You Will Make an Impact



Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Supports tracking, development and completion of company initiatives and Government or Commercial business growth projects and initiatives related to provider communications.
  
  


• Supports recommendation of distribution channels to include attainment of appropriate approvals.
  
  


• Supports development of new and innovative programs for standard communication distribution and format.
  
  

Minimum Requirements:



Requires Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in managed healthcare or related industry or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.



Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Provides editorial oversight and reviews communications for accurate, clear/concise writing style and voice, with a focus on structuring for digital media, ensuring content development
  
  


• Evaluates and improves the messaging and overall content of written work, identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating directly with staff to enhance and develop composition skills through one-on-one education and group workshops.
  
  


• Identifies and implements process improvements as needed to ensure highest quality communications and quicker turnaround times
  
  


• Ensures copy is direct, intentional, accessible and written with audience in mind according to corporate brand guidelines
  
  


• Effects changes to written work and provides content creation support in addition to reviewing and editing high-profile design and copywriting projects.
  
  

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $89,496 to $146,448.
