Overall Purpose:
This career step requires intermediate level experience. This position analyzes data from multiple sources including datalakes, internal/external data, data warehouses, etc. Uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed to explain or predict behavior, solve a variety of business problems, and build business cases.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for business case development, big data analytics modeling using tools (Ex: including but not limited to: Tableau, Palantir, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.), and business process integration.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions.
Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size, and verifies the model in the real world.
Quantifies significance of data variances, applies an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly- developing within the Big Data space.
Uses traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making. Develops reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.
Advises business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.
Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline and sound understanding of ATT technologies.

Preferred master's degree from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.

This position requires AT&T office presence of 5 days per week.
Our Sr. Advanced Analytics role typically earns $118,800.00 -$178,200.00 Dallas, TX, and $106,100.00 - $159,100.00 Atlanta, GA annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
