Position Summary: This is an exciting time to join the Glade Run School Based Mental Health Program which is enjoying tremendous expansion across Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Clarion and Venango Counties! We are looking for bright, passionate, creative mental health therapists to grow along with us. The Coordinator - School Based Therapist works primarily from a school setting. Job responsibilities include: completing client intakes (inclusive of psycho-social assessment, initial treatment plan and required legal consents); develop measurable treatment goals in collaboration with clients and families; complete treatment reviews in accordance with outpatient regulations; and provide individual, group, and family therapy as is clinically indicated. This position will work out of the Big Beaver Falls Area School District.
REQUIREMENTS: Academic:
Master’s degree in a counseling related field, and two-years Master-level clinical experience required with at least six months of the experience working with children/adolescents.
Professional license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) required and credentialing preferred. (Professional license does not include Licensed Social Worker – LSW).
One year of supervisory or clinical lead experience preferred.

CORE COMPETENCIES:
Serve as a Coordinator in assigned school district(s).
Triage and assess a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns in a public-school setting including but not limited to issues related to drug and alcohol use and thoughts to harm self or others.
Refer students to appropriate course of treatment or emergency care service.
Assist and advise school faculty in developing behavior management plans which can be implemented by school staff.
Develop and provide group therapy on topics such as social skills, anxiety, grief and anger management.
Keep accurate and timely documentation of all therapeutic activities and plans (e.g. service plans and progress notes).
Act as the direct contact for the assigned school district(s) and Student Assistance Program Liaisons.
Provide clinical individual and group supervision of other therapists and review of psychosocials, treatment plans, discharges, intakes, and chart audits.
Help manage referrals for assigned school district(s) to outpatient clinics as well as referrals for psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
Work with supervisor to plan and outline tasks and trainings for in-service days.
Assist with onboarding new staff to new buildings and model intake process.
Attend tabling events as requested by school district.
Participate in the licensure supervision program as a licensed supervisor.
Complete School Year and Summer Productivity requirements – refer to the Minimum Hours-School Based Therapist-Coordinator document for specific requirements.
Assist with overseeing at least 1 intern/year.
Hold monthly meetings with assigned district building(s) to review rosters, caseloads, staffing, etc. and send meeting minutes to direct supervisor.
Understand, explain and provide guidance for managing productivity expectations to therapists and assist therapists with organizing and prioritizing schedules using google calendar, front loading schedule, and sending ten-day letters out.
Reinforce Glade Run Lutheran Services' policies and procedures with Glade Run staff in assigned school district(s).
Assist agency programs through providing IBHS Written Orders as identified and requested by the program supervisor/director.
