Hours: Mon-Tues-Wed-Fri 9am-5pm; Must be able to work 1 late shift per week (Thursdays 11am -8pm) and 1 Saturday per month (10am- 3pm)

Location: Must be able to work in BOTH Charlotte area practices: Lake Norman (Huntersville): 14330 Oakhill Park Lane Suite 135 Huntersville, NC 28078 and Ballantyne:7825 Ballantyne Commons Parkway Suite 300 Charlotte, NC 28277 

Job Title: Skincare Consultant

By using a consultative sales process, the Skincare Consultant educates patients about Sona Dermatology products and services via telephone and virtual consultations. Completes the sales process in accordance with all standards and guidelines set forth by Sona Dermatology with emphasis on patient experience by fostering and nurturing positive relationships. Achieves assigned sales targets and overcomes objections and differentiates Sona Dermatology from our competition.

Makes patients and their needs a primary focus of their actions; effectively meets patient needs; develops and sustains positive and productive patient relationships; and takes responsibility for patient satisfaction and loyalty.

Role / Duties & Responsibilities


  • Build relationships with patients over the telephone, in the practice, and through virtual consultations.

  • Articulate treatment protocols, benefits, features, and limitations to patients.

  • Partner and collaborate with Corporate and Practice leadership.

  • Use appropriate interpersonal skills and communication methods to gain acceptance of products and services.

  • Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.

  • Follows the Sona Dermatology sales lead management process. Leverages tools, reports, and resources to maximize results.

  • Receptive to coaching and feedback on sales approach and goal achievement. Seeks guidance on areas of improvement.

  • Schedule varies and includes nights and weekends. Extended hours may be required to meet business demands to service lead/patient demand.

  • Interacts with others with confidence in one’s intentions and those of the organization. Always acts with integrity.

  • Identifies opportunities and acts to build relationships between individuals, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.

  • Follow up on leads via outbound calling, texts, and emails.

  • Other duties as assigned.
