Description: Our client is currently seeking a Dialysis Registered Dietitian in Gallup, NM!
What we're looking for
Must have Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Food.
Minimum of one year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian required.
Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification showing proof registered with Commission of Dietetic Registration
Current Dietitian (LD/LDN) license in applicable state is required unless employed in the state of AZ, CA, CO, HI, IN, MI, NJ or VA. State certification (Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist) required in CT and NY. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire

How you'll change lives
As a Dietitian, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease.
What you'll be doing
Patient Nutrition. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team working to ensure patients receive the best care, including conducting all required patient assessment and care planning activities and participating in a monthly interdisciplinary patient care conference. You'll recommend therapeutic diets based on patient nutritional needs, preferences, and changes in treatment in consultation with the patient's physician, evaluating standard menus and revising as needed. You'll help patients obtain dietary supplements, as needed. You'll also design and shared educational materials and conduct seminars or classes for dialysis patients.
Teamwork. You'll collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians and maintain positive relationships with area hospitals, agencies, vendors, and the community.
Safety & Quality. You'll help with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize missed treatments and hospitalizations, achieving target goals for patient outcomes. You'll also help maintain a productive quality assurance program and participate in monthly Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
Full Time Schedule.
For Dietitians, most will work M-F. Clinic hours do vary.
