Fixed Asset Accountant


Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries related to fixed assets, record depreciation, and manage the transfer and disposal of fixed assets.


• Perform monthly reconciliations, including comparing the fixed asset subsidiary ledger and construction in progress to the general ledger.


• Handle the month-end closing process for fixed assets.


• Generate monthly Capex spend reports and maintain PPE roll-forward schedules.


• Create and manage asset audit schedules.


• Assist in tracking and reconciling capital projects.


• Collaborate with plant teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of capital projects.


• Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets and support quarterly reviews and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).


• Experience with SAP is advantageous.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with management.


• Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Knowledge of US GAAP
