Description: Our client is currently seeking a Global Trade Analyst!
This is a long term w2 contract to hire opportunity, requiring of onsite/hybrid work capability.
4 days in office per week / 1 day remote.
The Trade Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our international trade operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and trade compliance. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in these areas and a proven track record of improving efficiency and compliance in international shipping and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and optimize international trade operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Monitor and interpret trade regulations and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline processes.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Prepare and present reports on trade activities and performance metrics.
Manage documentation and ensure accuracy in shipping and distribution records.
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance trade compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping.
Strong knowledge of trade compliance regulations and requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
