Job Description:
Location: Morrisville, NC
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Global Trade Analyst!
4 days in office per week / 1 day remote.
The Trade Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our international trade operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and trade compliance. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of experience in these areas and a proven track record of improving efficiency and compliance in international shipping and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize international trade operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor and interpret trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline processes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports on trade activities and performance metrics.
- Manage documentation and ensure accuracy in shipping and distribution records.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance trade compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and international shipping.
- Strong knowledge of trade compliance regulations and requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
