Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Coordinator to contribute to the delivery of technology projects as a member of our IT department. The Project Coordinator role provides project management, operational, and administrative support to the project team. The role will focus on specific deliverables, parts of projects, and/or sub-projects with scheduling, organizing, data gathering, progress updating, recordkeeping, and reporting. The role will focus on maintaining data quality in the Project Management tools. The Project Coordinator will make project and portfolio reports presentation-ready to ease the burden on the senior project managers to validate and harmonize communications. This role requires proactive multitasking and coordination across a diverse set of teams, geographies, time zones, and cultures. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from straightforward to challenging, to work with cross-functional teams across our organization, and make a significant impact on our business.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the projects
  • Responsible for managing project meetings – scheduling, taking and distribution meeting notes, providing administrative support for recordkeeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees.
  • Responsible for document management in the project workspaces
  • Responsible for upkeep of the project plan by working with project managers and leads
  • Responsible for continuously monitoring and evaluate project progress and risks log, and alerting PMO leadership of any issues
  • Responsible for documenting, improving and sharing PMO processes
  • Responsible for coordinating project events
  • Responsible to perform other job duties as needed to support the project delivery
  • Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented workplace, which may include other duties as assigned.

Qualifications



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Preferred work experience of 1-2 years in IT project management
  • Familiarity with the functioning of Project Management Office
  • Strong experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Projects, MS word
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-velocity environment
  • Willingness to support the project above and beyond the assigned activities, with responsibility and accountability, to drive results and expected outcomes
  • Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or project management preferred
  • Certifications in Project management field
  • Experience / certifications with MS Office applications, Azure DevOps, MS Projects, MS Excel is required
  • A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be considered

Working Conditions:

  • May include travel internationally/domestically/or regionally on company business (frequency/duration).
  • Working hours are generally (daytime); may require overtime or on-call shifts.
