Financial Specialist West Region Team Lead - AgCarolina West Region (region consists of Raleigh, Smithfield, Louisburg, Harnett County, Rocky Mount and Clinton - Exact location of position subject to office availability)
The right person for the job will actively work with the Financial Specialist West Region Team and other Financial Specialist Leads to assist in loan administration and business development tasks. The job requires an ability to provide direct in-office support primarily to Agribusiness Loan Officers and occasionally with Branch Lenders as well as managing and developing a team of Financial Specialists. You should enjoy the challenge of ensuring loan packages are compliant with all FCA and applicable association policy and procedures, the financial specialist pipeline is accurate, and the team is quick to respond to loan requests all while maintaining excellent customer service and support.

The Financial Specialist West Region Team Lead will contribute to all business objectives including "Serving Our Members & Rural Communities." This position would report to the West Regional Manager.
**Internal candidates for this position must be in their current role for at least 12 months before applying.
How you will impact AgCarolina Farm Credit:
Leads and manages a team of financial specialists, assuring a well-trained and motivated staff capable of meeting the challenges facing the Association
Coordinators with Regional Manager and other Financial Specialist Team Leads on process improvement needs, revisions, and/or training
Assists with the management, organization, development and direction for various lending support functions
Manages the financial specialist pipeline to monitor workloads and ensure accurate and quick response to loan requests
Addresses and assigns all loan requests received and customer service issues
Coaches and provides direction to staff ensuring compliance with all FCA and applicable association policy and procedure
Monitors applicable systems and documentation for coding and lending related errors and provides recommendations to correct and eliminate the repetition of the same errors
Assists branch lending staff and helps facilitate other branch duties
Efficiently and accurately prepares AgVue credit request for AgScoring, traditional underwriting or analyst use
What you need to succeed:
Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance
3 or more years of Financial Specialist experience and/or proven performance preferred
Strong interpersonal, customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with strong analytical, judgement, and communication (oral and written) skills
Capability to handle high stress situations in both a business and professional manner
Computer experience with intermediate skills in Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
Quick learner, strong problem solver, and adaptable
Work independently under general supervision
Foster and promote a team atmosphere
