Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing new product development and overseeing change management processes. This role will be integral in optimizing technical processes that support the introduction and scale-up of new products, troubleshooting production challenges, and driving internal initiatives that set the foundation for organizational growth. The ideal candidate will take initiative, work well cross-functionally, and enhancing our product development and rollout processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for innovation to drive the development of cutting-edge products from concept to market.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in and be a resource for the transition, integration and implementation of new products in alignment with market needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability, including during the new product development (NPD) stage.
  • Create and maintain product development timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
  • Create and manage new technology MFD process for new products.
  • Conduct financial analysis for new products to ensure scale, feasibility, profitability and partner with line of business leaders.
  • Manage product lifecycle changes, including updates, modifications, and discontinuations, ensuring minimal disruption to production and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage product rationalization process to ensure ‘no moving' products are obsoleted.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and processes that facilitate smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of changes on product performance and quality, adjusting as necessary.:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding product specifications and functionality.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and project reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development process.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish testing protocols and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or STEM based degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in product engineering or related roles, with a focus on new product development and change management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using project management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to product development.
  • Experience in chemical process engineering.(Preferred)
  • Experience in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
  • Lean/Continuous improvement methodologies.(Preferred)
