Location: 715 Fountain Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601

We are looking for an Assistant Supervisor to join our Lancaster, PA team! As an Assistant Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting in the daily supervision of the assigned department. Scope includes: promoting and emulating a culture of safety and quality, coordinating the daily production schedules, training operators in the use of the Epicor system, and coordinating the OJT training. This position also works hand-in-hand with the Production Supervisor to effectively manage employees and fills in as the Supervisor when needed.

Assistant Supervisor Salary: $55,000-$60,000 (based on experience)
2nd Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm

Assistant Supervisor Core Contributions:

Employee Management:

• Provide leadership, direction, and training to employees
• Address disciplinary issues according to company policy
• Partner with Human Resources for hiring needs
• Approve and manage employee hours in the timekeeping system
• Supervise and train new employees
• Assist in ongoing training and support

• Assist with shift changeover and daily Operations meetings
• Conduct product inspections and audit activities against SOP.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures, including equipment operation.

Assistant Supervisor Essential Experiences:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Demonstrated leadership in production and employee-related issues
• Experience in Team Lead or Assistant Supervisor role in manufacturing preferred
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
