Job Description:

Job Summary Responsible for the daily operations of the plating processors including creating workloads, log sheets, and maintaining plating equipment. Job Responsibilities Prepare parts to be processed by creating correct load sizes. Preparing work for plating processors to minimize their downtime. Creating log sheets of plating parameters for plating operators Direct flow of parts through the department to ensure timely delivery of components. Repair or replace damaged or broken equipment as needed. Ability to diagnose and fix issues with the plating process as they arise. Use vibratory tumblers and other cleaning techniques to ensure quality of plated parts. Operating any process line as needed to cover production demands. Working with others toward continuous improvement within the department and company. Promoting a positive work environment. Protect themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies. Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or safety coordinator. Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices. Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 or more years' experience within an electroplating environment. Physical: Ability to lift up 25 lbs. frequently; 50lbs occasionally. Ability to stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel and reach. Shift: 1st (Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm) Knowledge: English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Multi-limb Coordination — The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Oral Comprehension — The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Problem Sensitivity — The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
