SUMMARY

The position of LPO Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the Commercial Real Estate, C/I, and/or SBA term loan process and preparation by providing support to the Regional Manager/LPO Manager and assigned LPO staff.

Ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act), Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation DD (Truth in Savings Act) Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd Frank Act), Elder Abuse Laws, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.


REQUIRED DUTIES

1. Manages calendars and schedules appointments with borrowers and referral sources

2. Maintains business records and reports.

3. Composes and prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents.

4. Responsible for coordinating the day to day loan closing requirements including monitoring e-mails, scheduling document signing and collecting required documents.

5. Collects and reviews documents required for underwriting and closing.

6. Facilitates communication between internal Bank staff, supervisor, borrowers, and referral sources.

7. Offers feedback and suggest solutions to issues that may arise throughout the underwriting and closing process.

8. Prioritizes workload to accommodate the fast-paced environment and time-sensitive deadlines.

9. Conducts site visits, meetings, and interviews with borrowers and referral sources

10. Actively participates in local district functions with assigned marketing area.

11. Maintains and applies a thorough understanding of the bank's credit policy, and all necessary business practices to ensure the submission of accurate and complete loan application packages. Ensure all loans comply with regulatory requirements

12. Assist internal and external department’s portfolio management in any requested servicing action within assigned marketing area.

13. Assist with various projects and other operational duties. Work collaboratively with others to help support and achieve the overall goals of the Division

14. Provide customer service including meeting and greeting customers in person and on the phone.

15. Maintain knowledge of the Bank’s underwriting and lending guidelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. • High school diploma and/or 2 or more years of related work experience and/or training in commercial or SBA lending.

• Commercial real estate and/or SBA analysis/underwriting experience a plus

• Strong problem solving, analytical and decision making skills.

• Able to handle multiple transactions at once and work well in a team-oriented environment

• Strong customer service skills.

• Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing and spreadsheet software programs.

• Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

• Basic math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.

• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.

• Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.

• Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.


Pay $33,280 - $71,000 per year. The salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up from the beginning to mid-point of the salary range. Successful candidates may be eligible for [bonus/stock/commissions/incentives] at the Company’s sole discretion.
