The Accounting Supervisor will provide general and cost accounting duties including data entry, analysis, and reporting of production, shipping, and inventory control. The position will work closely with the Plant Controller and plant management to report on, analyze, and help control spending and plant labor consistent with the budget. The position will also assist with the month-end financial closing process and perform assignments as the Plant Controller may direct.
Responsibilities:
Follow up on unbilled shipments by investigating, correcting, and reconciling
Perform monthly Outside Warehouse Reconciliations
Assist with the month-end financial closing process
Assist Plant Controller and plant management with control of spending through reporting, investigating, and following up on variances to budget.
Assist Plant Controller and plant management with control of labor through reporting, investigating, and following up on variances to budget.
Assist with the finished goods inventory reconciliation process to include adjustment entries, audits, and counts
Provide backup for entering daily production and receiving raw material and paper into the ERP system
Perform other plant accounting processes in-line with appropriate accounting guidelines and policies
Minimum skills / qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with integrated ERP systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with management and outside customers
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
Good team dynamics and proficient planning and organizational skills
Must be able to work on-site daily
Limited travel (< 10%)
Preferred skills / qualifications:
Experience with SAP
Experience with inventory control

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $84,600 and 95,000 per year. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
Ardagh Glass Packaging seeks to reward full-time, salaried employees for their contributions through the annual Ardagh Incentive Bonus (AIB) plan. The bonus allocated for this role is x% of the annual salary. The bonus incentive program is based on company meeting or exceeding financial targets of EBITDA and operating cash flow.
