Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems is seeking an experienced Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit (RFIC) Layout and Design Engineer (Experienced, Lead, or Senior) to join the Micro-Electronics team in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities
Design and implement complex RFIC layouts using your expertise in Cadence Software Suite and other high-frequency EM tools such as HFSS, Sonnet, CST, or equivalent.
Conduct signal integrity simulation and analysis to ensure that our RFIC technologies meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Utilize your experience in RFIC design to contribute to the development of new technologies and products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of RFIC technologies into larger systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in RFIC layout and design, and contribute to the development of new best practices and procedures.
Participate in the mentoring and development of junior engineers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This worksite participates in Boeing's optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience in RFIC layout and design. (Level 3 will have 1+, Level 4 will have 3+ and Level 5 will have 5+ years of experience in RFIC Layout and Design.)
Experience in Cadence Software Suite including Virtuoso Layout.
Proficient in RFIC layout and design tools; including Cadence, Virtuoso Layout, ADE, Spectre RF, Si-Wave or additional signal integrity software.
Proficiency with LINUX, ECAD setup, p-cell coding and PDK development.
Proficiency with RF EM analysis tools including AWR, ADS, HFSS and Sonnett.
3+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry.
Experience with Signal Integrity analysis and design.
Experience with RF electrical REA including gain budgeting, end to end simulation and worst case circuit analysis.

Senior (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
