RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a clilent in Pasadena, CA that is seeking a Modeler. Responsibilities:

• The Modeler will create system block diagrams, schematics, and detailed electrical designs


• Develop proof of concept wiring prototypes


• Debug custom electronics using test equipment


• Define electrical requirements for concepts and develop detailed performance specs


• Spec and build battery/charging packages for high and low voltage systems


• Develop specs to purchase electrical equipment


• Program addressable led lighting assemblies


• Troubleshoot interference issues in complex systems


• The Modeler will spec and build wireless communication systems for switching or triggering components


• Soldering and desoldering of PCB's (manufactured and breadboard)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity with some common programming languages such as C, Python or I.D.E (arduino)


• Basic understanding of PCB routing and schematics


• High level understanding of voltage regulation, relays, and switching


• Ability to configure clean and accessible wiring harnesses


• Ability to work with others


• Interpersonal skills


• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

• Form and Line Development

• Unigraphics (UG)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
