The Expeditor will partner with the purchasing, transportation, operations and sales to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and financial performance through superior communication around fill rate and inventory planning and deployment. This position is responsible for monitoring special orders, sales support, inventory Inquiries and market intelligence. This position will be the primary point of contact surrounding inventory requests and market intelligence for the regions supported.
Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring large sales orders and adjusting as needed
Backorder review & resolution
Monitoring and communication of special-order status
Management of sales support intake process for inventory inquires, market intelligence, supplier issues and communication
Management of Emergency need intake process, order fulfillment and communication
Management of priority inbound purchase orders with operations support
Operations support for inbound supplier related issues
Accounts payable support from supplier receiving discrepancies
Management of customer return intake processing
Over, short and damaged receiving management with operations
The Ideal Candidate will have:
A minimum of two years of experience in inventory management and purchasing.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Great verbal and written communication, detail-oriented, critical analysis, and multitasking skills.
Ability to professionally interact with a wide range of key executive members and management.
Good analytical skills and proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic math operations.
Self-motivated with the ability to follow through on assignments and prioritize workflow with some supervision.
Capable of assimilating information quickly and reaching conclusions.
Understanding of the Purchasing Module of all applicable ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems preferred.
Previous P21 experience preferred.
