We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team and help us build amazing structures that stand the test of time! As a Carpenter, you'll be responsible for constructing rough wooden and metal structures, such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel, bridge, or sewer supports according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.

Your responsibilities and abilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Constructing built-in-place or prefabricated wooden and/or metal forms according to specifications for molding concrete structures such as piers, footers, retaining walls, abutments, parapets, caps, columns, and bridge decks.
Cutting lumber to blueprint dimensions, using handsaw or power saw, and nailing lumber together to make form panels.
Lifting and handling built-in-place forms and/or assembling, erecting, and installing prefabricated forms.
Inserting spreaders and tie rods between opposite faces of form to maintain specified dimensions.
Anchoring and bracing forms to fixed objects using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, and planks.
Building rough wooden structures such as scaffolds, temporary frame shelters, overhang jacks, and safety railings.
Lifting and setting rails for finishing machine.
Pouring concrete in forms and decks which requires vibrating, shoveling, and raking. Also assisting cement finishers.
Hanging ledgers, overhang brackets, and decking with plywood and steel.
Tying rebar curtains and mats.
Forming slabs, columns, and walls for concrete pours.
Job Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in concrete carpentry and pouring concrete
Knowledge and ability to use the following forming systems:
Aluminum Gang Forms
Simons
EFCO
Stick Frame Wood Forms
Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. or more
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
