The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine-Dublin announces an outstanding opportunity for a staff veterinarian in the Urgent Care service. Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree. It is expected that the candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient management; service to clients and referring veterinarians; and collaboration with fellow clinicians and technicians. Candidates will be expected to work approximately 32 hours per work week.
The candidates will be responsible for maintaining and building a robust caseload of urgent care patients and stabilizing critical patients for transfer to specialty services. Staff veterinarians are also expected to be involved in
professional and community outreach, and continuing education. Collegiality, mutual support, and respect for others are strongly held values in the College of Veterinary Medicine. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. The start date is negotiable. Hiring Range - $87,520 - $134,000
Base pay plus an attractive production incentive package is offered.
This is a professional veterinarian non-teaching position.
Standing for long periods of time
