Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a proactive and well-qualified individual for the role of Junior Business Analyst. This position offers an opportunity to work within a talented, diverse team committed to driving mission success.
As a Junior Business Analyst L1, you will provide essential support to the United States Space Force's (USSF) Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) Integrated Program Office (IPO). The OTTI program underpins force readiness by aligning the acquisition, development, and sustainment of long-term test and training capabilities for the USSF.
In this role, you will work closely with government leadership to drive strategic support, ensure operational efficiency, oversee workflow and business processes, and facilitate effective communication across the organization. Strong professional experience is required, and familiarity with the USSF, Space Systems Command (SSC), and Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) processes is highly desired. Leadership and collaboration skills are essential.
Compensation Minimum: $70,000
Compensation Maximum: $80,000
Job Requirements:
Skills / Experience Required
Must hold and maintain a Top-Secret clearance SCI-eligible with the capability to acquire and retain additional security accesses
Minimum of 3 years of practical relevant experience within the Department of Defense DoD environment
Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to work effectively alongside diverse leaders and colleagues in both in-person and virtual settings
Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously engaging seamlessly with team members and senior leadership with minimal oversight
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities proactively identifying and addressing challenges before they arise
Proactive in task management and organizational workflow with a demonstrated ability to tackle challenges and manage responsibilities efficiently
Exceptional written verbal and presentation skills able to communicate effectively within a DoD setting and comprehend complex information
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Skilled in using Task Management Tool TMT
Position requires full-time on-site work
Occasional travel up to 10 percent may be required
